About Us
The IEEE Student Branch at the College of Engineering Kallooppara, established in 2009, focuses on enhancing the technical and professional development of its students. Through a variety of engaging technical events, workshops, and seminars, the branch provides invaluable opportunities for hands-on learning and skill-building.
The branch encompasses several professional societies, including the Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS), the Computer Society, the Power & Energy Society (PES), the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS), and the Education Society (EDSOC). These societies offer specialized resources, technical activities, and networking opportunities tailored to their respective domains, empowering students to explore and excel in specific areas of engineering.

Events
Robolution
A two-day beginner-friendly Arduino workshop designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of embedded systems and robotics. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, attendees learned Arduino programming, basic electronics, and practical hardware interfacing, building a strong foundation for future robotics and automation projects.
Tree Plantation Drive
An environmental initiative aimed at promoting sustainability and ecological awareness. Participants came together to plant trees and contribute to a greener future, fostering a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation.
Pentex
A week-long technical extravaganza featuring multiple competitions and workshops across various domains. The event brought together students to showcase their skills and learn from industry experts through hands-on sessions and challenging contests.
Override (12-Hour CTF)
An intense 12-hour Capture The Flag competition challenging participants' cybersecurity skills. The event featured multiple categories including web exploitation, cryptography, forensics, and reverse engineering, testing participants' ability to think under pressure.
Skill Bridge 2.0
An enhanced version of the Skill Bridge workshop series, featuring advanced tracks and updated curriculum. The event focused on bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements through intensive hands-on training sessions.
Ctrl+Build
A hands-on workshop focused on building and programming innovative projects. Participants learned to bring their ideas to life through practical sessions covering hardware integration, software development, and project management best practices.
